Their Story
Where did you first meet?
We met at a friend's terrace party in Delhi — Ananya walked in late with her sister and Rohan was the one who pointed her to the food table. A glamorous beginning.
What was your first impression of each other?
Rohan: "She was talking to everyone at once and somehow listening to all of them. I thought she was extraordinary." Ananya: "He was quiet in the corner, smiling at everyone else's stories. I wanted to know what he was thinking."
How did the proposal happen?
Two years later, on a foggy morning in Jaipur — the city where we always said we'd get married — Rohan asked on the rooftop of a haveli at sunrise. There was chai, marigolds, and absolutely terrible WiFi. It was perfect.
