Wedding Agents (weddingagents.in) is a wedding planning platform for Indian couples. We are operated from India. For privacy questions, contact us at hello@weddingagents.in.

2. What data we collect

When you use Wedding Agents, we may collect:

• Identity data: your name and your partner's name
• Contact data: WhatsApp number, email address
• Wedding details: wedding date, city, community, events, venue names, dress codes, couple story, family names, guest FAQs
• Usage data: pages visited, time on site, browser and device type (via Google Analytics)
• Communication preferences: your WhatsApp consent choice

3. How we use your data

• To create and host your free wedding website at weddingagents.in/for/[slug]
• To send you your wedding website link via WhatsApp (only if you have given consent)
• To contact you about your wedding planning requirements
• To send you updates about Wedding Agents services (only if you have given consent)
• To improve our platform using aggregated, anonymised analytics data

4. Legal basis for processing (DPDP Act 2023 & GDPR)

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (given when you create your wedding website) and our legitimate interests in operating and improving this platform. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Supabase — our database provider (data stored in their cloud infrastructure)
• Twilio — used to send WhatsApp messages to you and our team
• Resend — used for internal email notifications to our team
• Google Analytics / Google Ads / Meta Pixel — aggregated usage analytics only
• Vercel — our hosting provider

All providers are contractually bound to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes.

6. Your wedding website is public

When your wedding website is published (set to visible by our team), it is accessible to anyone with the link. It may contain your names, event details, venue names, family names, and the guest coordinator contact you provided. Please only include information you are comfortable sharing with wedding guests.

7. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your wedding website is active, and for up to 2 years after. You may request deletion at any time by emailing hello@weddingagents.in.

8. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023 and applicable law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for WhatsApp or marketing communications at any time
